The Honor Pad X9 was released in India on Saturday. The tablet is the successor to the Honor Pad X8, which was released in September 2022 and featured a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, a 10.1-inch full-HD IPS display, and a 5,100mAh battery. The newly released Pad X9 features substantial changes and updates over its predecessor. Notably, the new tablet has a larger and better display as well as a larger battery. The company also announced the device’s price and release date in the country.
The Honor Pad X9 is made of metal and has a slim 6.9mm thickness. It features an oval-shaped rear camera hump and only the company’s branding on the back. The display is 11-inch 2K with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 400 nits of brightness, and a colour gamut of 100% SRGB. There are tiny bezels and an 86% screen-to-body ratio. TÜV Rheinland has also validated the screen.
The Honor Pad X9 is powered by a Snapdragon 685 CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. There is also support for up to 3GB of additional RAM. On the camera front, there is a 5MP rear snapper and a 5MP selfie shooter.
The tablet is powered by a 7,250mAh battery that is supposed to deliver up to 13 hours of movie playback on a single charge. It is powered by Android 13 and features the new Magic UI 7.1. You can experiment with features such as Multi-window, which allows you to open up to four windows at once, Google Kids Space, and others. The audio section has 6 Cinematic surround speakers with Hi-Res Audio compatibility. There’s also a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and other features.
Honor Pad X9 Price and Availability
The single 4GB+128GB edition of the Honor Pad X9 costs Rs 14,499 in India. It will be available for purchase on Amazon beginning August 2, but it is now available for pre-order. The tablet is available in Grey. Customers who pre-order the tablet will receive a Rs. 500 discount and a free Honor Flip cover for the tablet.
