POCO M6

Poco M6 5G is confirmed to debut in India on December 22. It will be available alongside the Poco M6 Pro 5G, which debuted in India in May of this year. The upcoming Poco M6 5G’s design was already hinted to by the manufacturer. Poco has apparently also hinted at the phone’s price range and verified certain aspects of its chipset in later teasers. Similar specs are anticipated for the Poco M6 5G since it was previously suggested that it would be a rebranded Redmi 13C 5G.

According to reports from MySmartPrice, the business teased the price of the upcoming Poco M6 5G to be Rs. 9,4XX in a teaser released on Poco Community. This implies that the phone’s price in the nation will be less than Rs. 10,000. The aforementioned community page did not have the teaser as of the time this article was written. Nonetheless, the phone is billed as the “most affordable” 5G phone on the Flipkart website, which raises the possibility that it may be a low-cost 5G device once more.

Additionally, Poco India revealed via an X post that a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor will power the upcoming Poco M6 5G. This is consistent with a previous leak that said the phone will be released with the same SoC under a different name as the Redmi 13C 5G. The Flipkart website and social media teasers thus far indicate that the Poco M6 5G will be available in two colour options: Galactic Black and Orion Blue. The Redmi 13C 5G, which was introduced in India on December 6, is notable for being available in three colorways: Startrail Black, Startrail Green, and Startrail Silver. With prices of Rs. 9,999, Rs. 11,499, and Rs. 13,499, respectively, it comes in three configurations: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. Price-wise, it appears that the Poco M6 5G will be less expensive than the Redmi 13C 5G based on the most recent leak.

A MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS2.2 internal storage are included with the Redmi 13C 5G. With a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, it has a 6.74-inch HD+ (1,600 x 720 pixels) LCD panel. Launched with MIUI 14, an Android 13-based UI, the smartphone supports twin nano SIM cards. In terms of optics, the Redmi 13C 5G includes a 5-megapixel sensor for the front camera and a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an unidentified secondary portrait lens on the back. We already know that the Poco M6 5G will have a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup thanks to teasers. Additionally, the Redmi variant has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired charging through a USB Type-C connection.
