Xiaomi has confirmed that the new Redmi Watch 3 Active will be available in India on August 1. The official website’s launch page has already gone up, displaying the design as well as some of the major specifications. The watch will have the same design as the worldwide variant. It will be available in two colour options: black and grey, featuring a rectangular dial with a metallic finish. The right edge of the watch will also contain a pusher button.

According to the published specs, the new Redmi Watch 3 Active will enable Bluetooth calling, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, 24×7 health monitoring sensors, and over 100 sports modes. The smartwatch will also include over 200 watch faces and a water resistant rating of up to 5ATM. It is also said to have a battery backup of up to 12 days on a single charge.

Xiaomi hasn’t published any specifications aside from these. The watch, on the other hand, is expected to have the same specs as its global counterpart. The Redmi Watch 3 Active was released globally with a 1.83-inch LCD display with 240×280 pixel resolution and customizable brightness up to 450 nits. The smartwatch’s global model is powered by a 289mAh battery, which is touted to provide up to 12 days of battery life with moderate usage and up to eight days with intensive usage. The watch is compatible with a magnetic charger. In the global market, the smartwatch measures 46.94 x 38.88 x 10.94mm and weighs roughly 41.67g.

The Redmi Watch 3 Active will be available on mi.com as well as in physical stores. The watch is already available in Europe for 39.99 Euros (about Rs. 3,685 in India), so we may expect it to be priced lower in India.
